Al-Barkaat Public School (+2)

The school is situated on the Anoopshahr Road near Jamalpur Railway Crossing approximately 5 kms from Aligarh Railway Station. The school prepares students for All India Secondary/Sr. Sec. School Examination (Class X/XII) conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi. It also caters for separate residential facilities to Boys and Girls from classes VI to XII. The medium of instruction is English at all levels.
The school has separate well-equipped science laboratories viz. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, computer Science and Mathematics for Secondary/Sr. Sec. level. These laboratories provide opportunities to understand the subject well through experiments done under the supervision of qualified and experienced teachers.
The school has a well established & spacious library. The library has on its shelves a large number of text books, story-books, Encyclopedia, reference books and books on moral values and general knowledge in English, Hindi and Urdu. The library has regular subscription to competitive examination magazines such as Science Reporter, Competition Success Review, journals and periodicals alongwith national/local newspapers. The students avail the library facilities through the library membership card valid for one academic year. The library is fully automated with barcode technology for the issue and return of books using Alice for Window Library software.

“An overall development of children is possible by creating interest and enthusiasm in games and sports juxtaposition to education“, said Mr Qaiser Khan, GM,BSNL Aligarh as the Chief Guest on the occasion.
There are no words of as much praise as can be made for Al-Barkaat Afternoon Shift for the financially weaker section of the society in order to make an effort for their bright future. There are so many parents who can’t afford the education of their children. So it becomes our duty to make a proper dispensation to overcome their hurdles and create the similar atmosphere as our children have in the society.
He extended his heartiest congratulations to Al Barkaat Educational society on this noble initiative and thanked all for providing this splendid opportunity to step in this temple of Education and interacting with the wonderful children.
The Guest of Honor Mrs Razia Rizvi, Directress, Physical Education Department of Abdullah Girls’ College, A.M.U appreciated the performance of the children on this grand occasion.” The teacher’s effort is the key to success of this programme”, she said. She encouraged the children and promised to give them some special prizes on her part.
The programme started with the recitation of the holy verses from the Quran. The school choir exhibited their talents by presenting a Group song. Master Amaan made the participants take the oath of the spirits in the sports. The March Past started amid the melodious rhythm of “Sare Jahan se achcha” and stole the show.
Dr Ahmad Mujtaba Siddiqui, Joint Secretary ABES presented a bouquet to the Chief Guest. Mrs Sabiha Khan, the Principal ABPS felicitated the Guest of Honor. Ms Taab Anwar Incharge, Al-Barkaat Afternoon Shift welcomed and introduced the Guests in her address.
Prof. S.M.Amin, the President, ABES, presided over the function. He suggested the children and the teachers to make efforts continuously so that Al-Barkaat can come up with better results in near future.
Dr Ahmad Mujtaba Siddiqui, the Joint Secretary, ABES said,” The success is guaranteed if we participate in any competition with full preparation and hard work”. He admired the better endeavor of the teachers and motivated the children to work hard in the right direction with full dignity and integrity in games and sports along with Education for the better results in future.
Different events such as Cap Race, Needle & Thread, Skipping, Tug of War, Sum Race (Senior & Junior) boys and girls were organized. Cosmos House, Tulip House, Lily House and Red House of the school participated. Rose House performed better and was adjudged the   winner. Prof S. M. Amin presented the Winner’s Trophy to the Rose House Captain Master Prabhu Dayal.
In the end, DR. F. U. Siddiqui, the Coordinator, ABEIs proposed the vote of thanks to all the parents and dignitaries.
Games and Sports teachers Mr. Danish Mohsin, Mr. Safi ur Rehamn, Ms. Taskin Zaheer, Mr. Reyaz and Ms. Mantasha extended their helping hands in preparing the outline of the programme jointly.
Art &Craft section incharge Mrs. Nadira Ahmad, Dr. Farha, Ms. Anubha and all the teachers extended their full support and cooperation to make the Event a grand success.
The programme was conducted by Ms. Masroor Jahan.
The programme came to an end with Taran-e-Al-Barkaat followed by the National Anthem.
Invited dignitaries Prof. Parvez Talib, Dr. Shahid, Mrs. Subuhi, Dr. Waseem Ahmed, Director ABIMS, Dr. Saba Hasan ,the Principal, ABIE, Mrs. Sabiha Khan, the Principal, ABPS, Mrs. Saba Haque, Headmistress, Mrs. Tabassum Saqlain, Incharge, Nursery Section, parents, all the teaching and non-teaching staff and students were present on the occasion.
