The school is situated on the Anoopshahr Road near Jamalpur Railway Crossing approximately 5 kms from Aligarh Railway Station. The school prepares students for All India Secondary/Sr. Sec. School Examination (Class X/XII) conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi. It also caters for separate residential facilities to Boys and Girls from classes VI to XII. The medium of instruction is English at all levels.
The school has separate well-equipped science laboratories viz. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, computer Science and Mathematics for Secondary/Sr. Sec. level. These laboratories provide opportunities to understand the subject well through experiments done under the supervision of qualified and experienced teachers.
The school has a well established & spacious library. The library has on its shelves a large number of text books, story-books, Encyclopedia, reference books and books on moral values and general knowledge in English, Hindi and Urdu. The library has regular subscription to competitive examination magazines such as Science Reporter, Competition Success Review, journals and periodicals alongwith national/local newspapers. The students avail the library facilities through the library membership card valid for one academic year. The library is fully automated with barcode technology for the issue and return of books using Alice for Window Library software.

Jalsa-e-Seearat-un-Nabi as well as the prize distribution was organized on the occasion of Jashne Eid Miladun Nabi by Al-Barkaat Seerat Committee in Al-Barkaat Public School.
 The programme commenced with the recitation of the Holy verses from the Quran. When students Bisma Sharique and Mohammad Adnan presented their Naat, the entire audience fell into rapt and rapture of devotion.
The Chief Guest Dr Afzal Misbahi shared his views saying the Prophet Mohammad S.A.W is the symbol of conduct for the whole mankind. He was messiah for the helpless and downtrodden. He helped those who lay thorns on his path. He freed the captives and ended the superstition of putting alive girl child to grave. He endorsed the remarriage of the widow. Therefore he is the role model for all.” Another Guest and eminent Educationist Prof. Razaullah Khan said the Prophet Mohammad S.A.W was a perfect guide to the human beings. He never believed in merely statement but its execution in the proper way. He taught us the way of life on day to day and at every step basis, the manner, conduct & behavior to become a good human being full of nobility, humility and a perfect gentleman.
Prof S. M. Amin, the president of Al-Barkaat Educational Society said, “Prophet Mohammad S.A.W was bestowed with the prophet hood at the age of 40, nonetheless he was already Prophet even before Hazrat Adam A.S .He is that personality whom Allah S.U.T turned his face towards the Masjid e Haram from the Masjid e Aqsa during his prayer without making the Salah invalid. As much as gratitude we express to him is very less on our part. Therefore, we should always pay Durood on him”.
Dr. Ahmad Mujtaba Siddiqui, the Joint Secretary Al-Barkaat Educational Society said, “We should always thank Allah S.U.T for sending on us such a prophet that if we follow his suit that would manifest our strong faith.”
In the series of three day competitions  Ruma Fatima of Al-Barkaat Public School, Ataul Mustafa(Sana school), Abdullah (STS High School), Adeeba Khanam(AMU Girls’), Abdul Waris &M.Razi(Faizane Mustafa), Nehauddin (Al Barkaat) were the winners in Qirat competition. Nawazuddin (Sana School), Zeeshan Hussain, Zainab Fatima(Al-Barkaat), Zainab Khan(Iqra Public School), Aman Khalid (S.S. Sc. A.M.U.) M. Ilyas (Faizan e Musatafa), won prizes in essay writing competition.
Bisma Sharique (A. M. U. Girls school) Babar Khan, M. Adnan & Aman( Al Barkaat Public School), Tayyab ( Mahrera Public School) were the winners in the Naat Competition.
Noman Asharaf (Al Barkaat Public School), Nishant Bhardwaj (Ahmadi School For the Blind), Waseem Ahmad (S.T.S. School) won prizes for the speech competition.
The prize distribution was held jointly organized by Mr. Nasir Husain and Maulana Qutubuddin.
The latter conducted the programme. Maulana Noman Azhari read the report of various competitions. Dr. F. U. Siddiqui, Coordinator, ABEIs, proposed the vote of thanks.
On this occasion Mr. Syed M. Aman, Executive Member Al Barkaat Educational Society, Mr. Syed M. Usman, Prof Kafeel Ahmad, Treasurer, ABES, Mr. Waseem Ahmad, Director, ABIMS, Mrs. Sabiha Khan, Principal, ABPS, Mrs. Saba Haque, Headmistress, Mrs. Tabassum Saqlain, Incharge, Nursery Section, eminent guest, all the teaching and non-teaching staff and students were present.
The special Assembly was also jointly organized by Al Barkaat Public School Senior and Qadiria Girls Section. Iqra Kunwar and Noman Asharaf Presented naat and speech respectively. Mantasha conducted the assembly and Maulana Noman Azhari delivered a comprehensive speech on the occasion throwing the light on life, conduct and message of peace and humanity spread throughout the world  for the entire mankind by our beloved prophet Hazrat Mohammad S. A. W.
