Al-Barkaat Public School (+2)

The school is situated on the Anoopshahr Road near Jamalpur Railway Crossing approximately 5 kms from Aligarh Railway Station. The school prepares students for All India Secondary/Sr. Sec. School Examination (Class X/XII) conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi. It also caters for separate residential facilities to Boys and Girls from classes VI to XII. The medium of instruction is English at all levels.
The school has separate well-equipped science laboratories viz. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, computer Science and Mathematics for Secondary/Sr. Sec. level. These laboratories provide opportunities to understand the subject well through experiments done under the supervision of qualified and experienced teachers.
The school has a well established & spacious library. The library has on its shelves a large number of text books, story-books, Encyclopedia, reference books and books on moral values and general knowledge in English, Hindi and Urdu. The library has regular subscription to competitive examination magazines such as Science Reporter, Competition Success Review, journals and periodicals alongwith national/local newspapers. The students avail the library facilities through the library membership card valid for one academic year. The library is fully automated with barcode technology for the issue and return of books using Alice for Window Library software.

 “Sufism has a great contribution to promote and propagate modern education. The students and teachers have to jointly endeavour to inculcate value education fruitfully”, said Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Zameruddin Shah, Vice-Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University as the Chief Guest on the occasion of Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony of Al-Barkaat Institute of Education.
He asserted that we should use the language which is practised at the International level. He vowed God is a witness that he always extends his help with your cooperation to take Aligarh Muslim University on top at the International level and maintain the dignity of this Institution. If we really want to see the social and economic development of the nation, we should cultivate education and moral values among students at par with the standard and demand of the time. He anticipated that one day Al-Barkaat Institutions will grow into higher and quality education, Juxtaposition to the current curriculum every time.
Mrs. Sabiha Simi Shah, wife of honorable Vice Chancellor inaugurated the new built Auditorium of Al-Barkaat Institute of Management Studies.
Greeting the Vice-Chancellor Prof. S. M. Amin, President Al-Barkaat Educational Society, addressed the gathering saying that we have set up a standard of quality education within a short span of time. This could be an ideal for others. He further added that Khanqah Barkaatiya has been advocating spiritnalism, social service and mutual harmony in the world for the last 350 years. Now, this same school of thought is spreading quality education and moral values.
Conducting the programme, Dr. Ahmad Mujtaba Siddiqui, Joint Secretary, Al Barkaat educational Society  said, “Al-Barkaat under the patronage of world fame Khanqah Barkaatiya is an Institution committed to valuable and dedicated citizens of the Country and with different streams of curriculum will set a new landmark comprehensively in the field of quality education.”
Prof. S. M. Amin felicitated the Chief Guest with a shawal and citation. Mrs. Tahira Hussain, Vice principal, Al-Barkaat Public School greeted Mrs. Sabiha Simi with a bouquet and memento. The programme started with the recitation of the holy verses from the Quran. Kunwar Iqra Nabi, student, presented a Naat.
Dr. F. U. Siddiqui, Coordinator Al-Barkaat Education Institutions proposed his vote of thanks to all the guests present.
The programme came off with Tarana-e-Al-Barkaat and National Anthem.

‘A God fearing man can never be a liar and betraying”, said Allama Masood Ahmad Barkaati, Jamia Ashrafia, Mubarakpur, Azamgarh as the Chief Guest on Jalsa - e - Seerat Un Nabi (S.A.W), 2013 organized by Al-Barkaat Seerat Committee on the occasion of 12 Rabil Awwal.
He interpreted the Hadith of Prophet Hazrat Mohammad S.A.W (PBUH) that the man is devoid of faith who satiates his hunger fully but his neighbors go hungry. He who offers Salah, keeps fasting or gives alms just to expose to others, he is committing ‘shirk’. So, it is our responsibility to go through the Hadiths of our beloved Prophet S.A.W (PBUH) and implement in our daily life and propagate among others, only then, it will be the real tribute of love for him. Prof. Ehtesham Nizami, the Guest of Honour said, Prophet Mohammad S.A.W (PBUH) cultivated faith in man that the universe is created on a principle. So, the life dispensation of human beings should also comply with it because man is a part of the universe and the root of evils starts when the part goes against the whole. It means man is challenging God. He laid stress that the Quran can’t be understood without the Hadiths of the Prophet S.A.W (PBUH).
Prof. S. M. Amin, President, ABES presided over the function. He said, “The people should get inspiration, from the teachings of Prophet Mohammad S.A.W (PBUH) to spend their life accordingly”. He focused on Imaan taught by our beloved Prophet S.A.W (PBUH) that governs the whole society towards honesty in every profession to justify it and become a good and responsible citizen with good conduct and character.
The programme started with the recitation of holy verses of the Quran. Mr. S. M. Ashraf, Vice-President, ABES presented a Naat. Mr. Azmat Barkaati and Dr. Rizwan Ur Rahman also chanted their Naats as a tribute to the Prophet S.A.W (PBUH). Dr. Ahmad Mujtaba Siddiqui, Joint Secretary, ABES conducted the programme. He introduced all the eminent guests. He said that there is nothing in the World without love for Prophet Mohammad S.A.W (PBUH). We should remember him in this way to follow suit and build our charcter accordingly. It is our religious obligation to propagate the teachings of the Prophet Mohammad S.A.W (PBUH).
Al-Barkaat Educational Institutions is set up to impart modern education with religious and moral teaching for this present generation to build a civilized society, eradicate evils from it and contribute greatly to the development of the nation.
On this occasion, different competitions were also organized. As many as 31 reputed schools and madarsas from Aligarh participated actively. They included Qirat, Naat, Essay, Speech etc. under senior and junior groups. About 82 prizes including First, Second, third and Consolation were given away by the eminent guests.
The function came to an end with Salam – O – Dua. Maulana Noman Azhari, Coordinator, Al-Barkaat Seerat Committee, Maulana Qutubuddin and Mr. Nasir Hussain had a great contribution to make it a success.

The 64th Republic Day was commemorated at Al Barkaat public School with full enthusiasm.
Prof. Abul Kalam Qasmi, Department of Urdu, Aligarh Muslim University, was the Chief Guest on this occasion. He hoisted the flag and received the salute in the honour of the tri colour from the march past teams of the school. He said in his speech that everyone should develop moral values. India is the largest democracy in the world. India’s Independence was a dream of our ancestors’. We are now free irrespective of rules, thought, religion or social discriminations. Therefore, we should remember those freedom fighters and patriots and make them our ideal.
The foundation of every country is a school like yours where the destiny of the nation is shaped in classrooms by your learned teachers.
Prof. S. M. Amin, President of Al Barkaat Educational Society said, “Success is achieved through hard work.  We should always make consistent efforts. Utmost dedication and hard labour results in a good success.” He inspired the children to realize their responsibilities towards education in order to contribute greatly in building a better future of India.
Dr. Ahmad Mujtaba Siddiqui, Joint Secretary, Al Barkaat Educational society  felicitated the Chief Guest with a bouquet. He also introduced the chief Guest and his contributions in his welcome speech. He focused on the significance of the day and motivated us to become a good citizen and shoulder our responsibilities and duties to take our country on the path of progress.
Dr. F. U. Siddiqui, Coordinator, ABEIs welcomed Prof. S. M. Amin by presenting a bouquet.
Mrs. Tahera Husain, Vice Principal, ABPS proposed her vote of thanks to all the guests.
Master Noman Ashraf deliverd his speech in Urdu while Rushda made her speech in English. The student presented a skit, songs and different cultural programmes before the guests.
Urooj Afreen compered the programme. It came to an end with the Tarane – e – Al Barkaat.
