Al-Barkaat Public School (+2)

The school is situated on the Anoopshahr Road near Jamalpur Railway Crossing approximately 5 kms from Aligarh Railway Station. The school prepares students for All India Secondary/Sr. Sec. School Examination (Class X/XII) conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi. It also caters for separate residential facilities to Boys and Girls from classes VI to XII. The medium of instruction is English at all levels.
The school has separate well-equipped science laboratories viz. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, computer Science and Mathematics for Secondary/Sr. Sec. level. These laboratories provide opportunities to understand the subject well through experiments done under the supervision of qualified and experienced teachers.
The school has a well established & spacious library. The library has on its shelves a large number of text books, story-books, Encyclopedia, reference books and books on moral values and general knowledge in English, Hindi and Urdu. The library has regular subscription to competitive examination magazines such as Science Reporter, Competition Success Review, journals and periodicals alongwith national/local newspapers. The students avail the library facilities through the library membership card valid for one academic year. The library is fully automated with barcode technology for the issue and return of books using Alice for Window Library software.

The serenity derived from Independence is incalculable. Its very aura is full of ecstasy and excitement. Experiencing this essence of Independence, the students of Al-Barkaat Public School contributed to intensify their patriotism by organizing different spectacular programmes.
The tiny tots of the Primary and the Nursery sections held an Independence week from 8 August 2016 to 13 August 2016. Many histrionic programmes including patriotic songs, motivating speeches, inspiring skits etc. enriched the atmosphere with the fragrance of the upcoming Independence Day.
Little children looked adorable as Mahatma Gandhi, Subhash Chandra Bose, Anne Besant and other. Patriotic songs were sung and the stories of the heroic deeds were narrated. The week was filled with memories of the past and pumped with the hopes of the future. In the time of these celebrations, the senior students added up the charm by holding special assemblies which were solely dedicated to the purpose of evoking patriotism and ideal citizenship among the students.  On this occasion the Principal, Vice-Principal and the Headmistress addressed the assembly and urged the students and the faculty to make the day purposeful and relevant to the present times. Unity in the diversity, tolerance, equality and democracy should be preserved as the important constituents of modern India.  The celebrations came to  conclusion with the emergence of a new desire of getting  an ideal and dreamy India.

Al Barkaat Public School(+2) Celebrates Its Founders Day

Al Barkaat Public School celebrated its Founders Day on 22nd July, 2016. On this occasion special assemblies were organised in the school campus. The students delivered speeches and sang melodious songs to mark the importance of the day. The day was a reminder of the toilsome efforts of the Management and the staff members way back in 2002 to realise the dream of an educational institution for excellence. One senior most and dedicated member of the team, Mrs. Tabassum Saqlain, Headmistress (Primary Section, ABPS) addressed the gathering and shared some beautiful memories of the school since its inception in 2004.
On this occasion, the Management Principal, and Vice Principal blessed the efforts of all the staff members and students and urged them to work in unison to take the institution to greater heights.

Notching up one achievement after another, as usual, Al Barkaat Public School(+2)  has successfully been able to secure an exemplary result of class X.
Out of a total of 174 students who appeared in the exam conducted by CBSE in 2016, admiringly 174 secured first division with 27 students towering at 10 CGPA. Number of students shielding 9 to 9.8 CGPA is 98 which is a remarkable figure. However, with 43 students procuring 8 to 8.8 CGPA, while only 6 student ladder to 7 to 7.8 CGPA, we are hopeful to elevate the level of result in coming future by upgrading every respective stratum of present achievement.
The overall result is quite appreciable with a promising, progressive and bright future of the students.  

On this occasion, the President, the Vice-President, the Secretary, the Joint Secretary ,the treasurer and the executive members of Al-Barkaat Educational Society as well as the Coordinator ABEIS, the Manager ,the Principal ,the Vice Principal, the Headmistress and all the staff congratulated the students and their parents on their excellent success and assured to bring forth better results in future.

Observed Earth Day

Al Barkaat Public School(+2) organized a special assembly on Earth Day, on April 22, 2016. The day was devoted to demonstrating how much we care about the future of our planet. The students reiterated the current issues affecting the environment, like pollution water shortage and climatic changes REUSE REDUCE and RECYCLE was discussed upon. On lines of the PARIS AGREEMENT, 2016 a pledge was taken to conserve Earth and its resources the students shared interesting trivia about the Earth and its bounties. The students were asked questions about their knowledge of the planet. The Principal Vice Principal enlightened the assembly by drawing attention towards conservation of the eco system and the depletion of Earth & natural resources.
The focus of the Earth Day celebration was a solemn resolve to transform the simple gifts of nature into wondrous joys.
