Al-Barkaat Public School (+2)

The school is situated on the Anoopshahr Road near Jamalpur Railway Crossing approximately 5 kms from Aligarh Railway Station. The school prepares students for All India Secondary/Sr. Sec. School Examination (Class X/XII) conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi. It also caters for separate residential facilities to Boys and Girls from classes VI to XII. The medium of instruction is English at all levels.
The school has separate well-equipped science laboratories viz. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, computer Science and Mathematics for Secondary/Sr. Sec. level. These laboratories provide opportunities to understand the subject well through experiments done under the supervision of qualified and experienced teachers.
The school has a well established & spacious library. The library has on its shelves a large number of text books, story-books, Encyclopedia, reference books and books on moral values and general knowledge in English, Hindi and Urdu. The library has regular subscription to competitive examination magazines such as Science Reporter, Competition Success Review, journals and periodicals alongwith national/local newspapers. The students avail the library facilities through the library membership card valid for one academic year. The library is fully automated with barcode technology for the issue and return of books using Alice for Window Library software.

A Special Assembly on Diwali was organized in the School. Programme started with the holy recitation of the Qur’an followed by the pledge and a speech by Mohd. Faizan Siddiqui of XI PCB. The other item included such as group song, dos and don’ts of Diwali by the girls from Qadiria Girls Section.
Mr. Deepak Kumar Gupta, a teacher, delivered a speech throwing some light on the significance of the festival of light. He said, “Darkness of ignorance can be lit by the candle of knowledge in the society by all of us”.
Mrs. Sabiha Khan, the Principal, appreciated the assembly by the children and greeted all on the occasion of Diwali saying that Diwali comes with a message of illuminating torch of wisdom throughout. She wished for safe and sound Diwali.
Another assembly was organized in the junior wing. The tiny tots expressed their feelings for Diwali in a nice way. Mrs. Saba Haque, Headmistress, said, “Diwali is the symbol of wealth and fortune. It means joy and celebration with the light of knowledge spreading over every nook and cranny in the world. Ms. Tania compared the programme.
Master Suboor of class IX B conducted it in the senior wing. The programme came to an end with the national anthem.  
HOD Girls Section, Mrs. Tahera Husain, Mr. Danish Mohsin, Ms. Rehana Saeed, Mrs. Aisha Bano, Mr. Ibadul Haque, Mr.Mahtab Ahmad, Mrs. Neena Sharma, Mr. Ashar Ali, all teachers, staff and students were present on the occasion.
