The school is situated on the Anoopshahr Road near Jamalpur Railway Crossing approximately 5 kms from Aligarh Railway Station. The school prepares students for All India Secondary/Sr. Sec. School Examination (Class X/XII) conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi. It also caters for separate residential facilities to Boys and Girls from classes VI to XII. The medium of instruction is English at all levels.
The school has separate well-equipped science laboratories viz. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, computer Science and Mathematics for Secondary/Sr. Sec. level. The students avail the library facilities through the library membership card valid for one academic year. The library is fully automated with barcode technology for the issue and return of books using Alice for Window Library software.

Al Barkaat, 14 October

An Inter-School Volleyball and Basketball Championship was declared open at Al-Barkaat Public School by the Principal, Mrs. Sabiha Khan. The programme commenced with the recitation of the Holy verses from the Qur’an. The principal gave her inaugural speech saying that Games and sports are very important part of our life. They not only keep us physically and mentally fit but also inculcate the sense of friendship and intimacy having good entertainment with the sportsman spirit. A contest is not meant only to win but taking part in it with full fervor. The Volleyball Sports Captain Ashraf Zia took the oath to all the team members. The Principal and the HOD Qadiria Girls’ section Mrs Tahera Hussain were introduced to the teams by the team captains. The first match between Al-Barkaat seniors and Krishna International School was played. Al-Barkaat Public School won the match by 2-0.

Sports Incharge Mr. Danish Mohsin, Mr. Safiur Rehman, Mr. Naushad Najeeb, all teachers and students were present on the occasion. C.C.A Incharge Mr. Mahtab Ahmad compered the programme.
