The school is situated on the Anoopshahr Road near Jamalpur Railway Crossing approximately 5 kms from Aligarh Railway Station. The school prepares students for All India Secondary/Sr. Sec. School Examination (Class X/XII) conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi. It also caters for separate residential facilities to Boys and Girls from classes VI to XII. The medium of instruction is English at all levels.
The school has separate well-equipped science laboratories viz. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, computer Science and Mathematics for Secondary/Sr. Sec. level. These laboratories provide opportunities to understand the subject well through experiments done under the supervision of qualified and experienced teachers.
The school has a well established & spacious library. The library has on its shelves a large number of text books, story-books, Encyclopedia, reference books and books on moral values and general knowledge in English, Hindi and Urdu. The library has regular subscription to competitive examination magazines such as Science Reporter, Competition Success Review, journals and periodicals alongwith national/local newspapers. The students avail the library facilities through the library membership card valid for one academic year. The library is fully automated with barcode technology for the issue and return of books using Alice for Window Library software.

The inauguration of Al Barkaat Syed Hamid Community College will not only bring relief to the low economic strata of the society but will also open up job avenues for them.
The Chief Guest for the occasion Mr. Sharda Prasad IAS (Retd.) Former Director General (Employment & Training), Ministry of Labour And Employment, appreciated this enlightened approach of the society for the development of the community.
Dr. Syed Sabahat Azim, Chief Executive Officer, Glocal Health Care System Pvt Limited, keynote speaker, introduced that this course will encompass vocational and technical training along with the basic curriculum. The enrolled students will also be imparted training in life skills, communicative skills and overall development of personality. After completing their course a wide range of job opportunities in the fields of Information & Technology, health care and other sectors will be available to them.
Prof. Parvez Talib (Dept. of Business Administration A. M. U) highlighted that on the onset of this academic year two courses will be introduced -General Duty Assistance (GDA) and Repair of Domestic Electronic Appliances which according to him were the most suited jobs which he confirmed after a detailed survey of the surrounding area.
On this occasion a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) was signed between Al-Barkaat Educational Society represented by Dr. Ahmad Mujtaba Siddiqui and Indigram represented by Capt. Anumeha Parashar (Zonal Chief). On this occasion 10 enrolled students were given kits for their course study.
Mr. S. M. Ashraf IRS Chief Commissioner, Income Tax, Kolkata appreciated the efforts of Prof. Parvez Talib, Dr. Ahmad Mujtaba Siddiqui, Joint Secretary (Al-Barkaat Educational Society), Dr. F. U. Siddiqui Coordinator, Mr. Maaz Hussain the Director Of The Community College and all involved in this venture. He applauded the initiative of the society for taking up this noble cause.
Prof. Syed Mohd Amin, President ABES greatly acknowledged and blessed this endeavor. Everyone opined that this venture is a giant step toward the upliftment of the society and for creating financial independence among masses.

Among those present on the occasion were eminent personalities- Khwaja Shameen Ahmad , Prof. Jamal Ahmad, Prof. Imteyaz Hasnain, Prof. Shahid Siddiqui, Smt. Roohi Zuberi, Shri Vishnu Kumar Bunty, Mufti Khalid Sahib and prominent guest from the minority commission. Also present were Heads and Staff of different institutes of Al-Barkaat Educational Society.
