The school is situated on the Anoopshahr Road near Jamalpur Railway Crossing approximately 5 kms from Aligarh Railway Station. The school prepares students for All India Secondary/Sr. Sec. School Examination (Class X/XII) conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi. It also caters for separate residential facilities to Boys and Girls from classes VI to XII. The medium of instruction is English at all levels.
The school has separate well-equipped science laboratories viz. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, computer Science and Mathematics for Secondary/Sr. Sec. level. These laboratories provide opportunities to understand the subject well through experiments done under the supervision of qualified and experienced teachers.
The school has a well established & spacious library. The library has on its shelves a large number of text books, story-books, Encyclopedia, reference books and books on moral values and general knowledge in English, Hindi and Urdu. The library has regular subscription to competitive examination magazines such as Science Reporter, Competition Success Review, journals and periodicals alongwith national/local newspapers. The students avail the library facilities through the library membership card valid for one academic year. The library is fully automated with barcode technology for the issue and return of books using Alice for Window Library software.

‘A God fearing man can never be a liar and betraying”, said Allama Masood Ahmad Barkaati, Jamia Ashrafia, Mubarakpur, Azamgarh as the Chief Guest on Jalsa - e - Seerat Un Nabi (S.A.W), 2013 organized by Al-Barkaat Seerat Committee on the occasion of 12 Rabil Awwal.
He interpreted the Hadith of Prophet Hazrat Mohammad S.A.W (PBUH) that the man is devoid of faith who satiates his hunger fully but his neighbors go hungry. He who offers Salah, keeps fasting or gives alms just to expose to others, he is committing ‘shirk’. So, it is our responsibility to go through the Hadiths of our beloved Prophet S.A.W (PBUH) and implement in our daily life and propagate among others, only then, it will be the real tribute of love for him. Prof. Ehtesham Nizami, the Guest of Honour said, Prophet Mohammad S.A.W (PBUH) cultivated faith in man that the universe is created on a principle. So, the life dispensation of human beings should also comply with it because man is a part of the universe and the root of evils starts when the part goes against the whole. It means man is challenging God. He laid stress that the Quran can’t be understood without the Hadiths of the Prophet S.A.W (PBUH).
Prof. S. M. Amin, President, ABES presided over the function. He said, “The people should get inspiration, from the teachings of Prophet Mohammad S.A.W (PBUH) to spend their life accordingly”. He focused on Imaan taught by our beloved Prophet S.A.W (PBUH) that governs the whole society towards honesty in every profession to justify it and become a good and responsible citizen with good conduct and character.
The programme started with the recitation of holy verses of the Quran. Mr. S. M. Ashraf, Vice-President, ABES presented a Naat. Mr. Azmat Barkaati and Dr. Rizwan Ur Rahman also chanted their Naats as a tribute to the Prophet S.A.W (PBUH). Dr. Ahmad Mujtaba Siddiqui, Joint Secretary, ABES conducted the programme. He introduced all the eminent guests. He said that there is nothing in the World without love for Prophet Mohammad S.A.W (PBUH). We should remember him in this way to follow suit and build our charcter accordingly. It is our religious obligation to propagate the teachings of the Prophet Mohammad S.A.W (PBUH).
Al-Barkaat Educational Institutions is set up to impart modern education with religious and moral teaching for this present generation to build a civilized society, eradicate evils from it and contribute greatly to the development of the nation.
On this occasion, different competitions were also organized. As many as 31 reputed schools and madarsas from Aligarh participated actively. They included Qirat, Naat, Essay, Speech etc. under senior and junior groups. About 82 prizes including First, Second, third and Consolation were given away by the eminent guests.
The function came to an end with Salam – O – Dua. Maulana Noman Azhari, Coordinator, Al-Barkaat Seerat Committee, Maulana Qutubuddin and Mr. Nasir Hussain had a great contribution to make it a success. 
Mr. S. M. Afzal, Executive Member, ABES, Mr. S. M. Aman, Executive Member, Prof. Slauddin Qureshi, Prof. Masood Anwar Alvi, Mr. Ateeb Qadri, Dr. Khusro Qasim, Dr. F. U. Siddiqui, Coordinator, ABEIs, Mr. Akbar Qadri, Dr. Waseem Ahmad, Mrs. Tahera Hussain, Vice-Principal, ABPS, Mrs. Saba Haque, Headmistress, Junior Section, ABPS Mrs. Tabassum Saqlain, Incharge, Nursery Section, ABPS, all the Teaching and Non-teaching Staff were present on this occasion.
