The school is situated on the Anoopshahr Road near Jamalpur Railway Crossing approximately 5 kms from Aligarh Railway Station. The school prepares students for All India Secondary/Sr. Sec. School Examination (Class X/XII) conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi. It also caters for separate residential facilities to Boys and Girls from classes VI to XII. The medium of instruction is English at all levels.
The school has separate well-equipped science laboratories viz. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, computer Science and Mathematics for Secondary/Sr. Sec. level. These laboratories provide opportunities to understand the subject well through experiments done under the supervision of qualified and experienced teachers.
The school has a well established & spacious library. The library has on its shelves a large number of text books, story-books, Encyclopedia, reference books and books on moral values and general knowledge in English, Hindi and Urdu. The library has regular subscription to competitive examination magazines such as Science Reporter, Competition Success Review, journals and periodicals alongwith national/local newspapers. The students avail the library facilities through the library membership card valid for one academic year. The library is fully automated with barcode technology for the issue and return of books using Alice for Window Library software.

Al-Barkaat Public School Result Stood 100%. Under Cumulative Grade Point Average (C.G.P.A.) standard Grading System set by Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E.) Mohd. Razdan,Mohd.Shahbaz Alam . TafweezHasan Khan ,Nazish and Kaneez Fatima secured 95% with Grade 10.
Apprising of the result Mrs. Sabiha Khan, the Principal, Al-Barkaat Public School Said, “137 candidates appeared for Board Examination this year. 55 students secured 60%, 64 got Distinctions while 8 secured 90%.”
On this grand achievement of school Prof. S. M. Amin, President, Al-Barkaat Educational Society, Dr. Ahmad Mujtaba Siddiqui, Joint Secretary ABES, Dr. F.U Siddiqui ,Co-ordinator ABEIs, Prof. Sagheer A Frahim, Manager ABPS, Mrs. Sabiha Khan, Principal ABPS, Mrs. Tahira Hussain HOD, Qadiria Girls` Section and the entire teaching staff congratulated the children. The Management attributed this credit to the able teachers for taking the school to this standard within the short span of time.

Al-Barkaat Public School was placed in the seventh heaven with the declaration of CBSE class XII result.
As many as 106 candidates appeared in the examination. The total passed percentage of the school remain 98.5%. Total distinctions in different subjects by the candidates were 149 in total.
Shahwaz Qaseem of commerce topped in the school with 86% followed by Saima Khanam of the same stream with 84.4% and Anam Kamal of PCB with 83.8% respectively.
Marks achieved around and above 90% in different subjects are as follows:
Accountancy and Business Studies 95 (two each), PHE 93 (two), Biology and Computer Science 92 (one each), Economics 91, English, Physics and Chemistry 90 (one each), Geography and Entrepreneurship 89 (one each) and Mathematics 88.
The school Management and Administration extent their heartiest congratulations on the tremendous achievement by the children of the school.

A workshop on Financial Education was organized at Al-Barkaat Public School. The programme started with the recitation of the holy verses The Quran. The resource person from SEBI Mr. Ashok Kumar speaking on the occasion said, “Finance is an integral part of our life. Everyone should have knowledge about it.” He suggested the tools and elements of assessment of wealth. Everyone should properly utilize finance and save it for future use. Investment is very important. One should know when and where to invest money to combat inflation.
The programme was conducted by Dr. M. Shoeb, a teacher of Commerce. Mrs. Sabiha Khan, the Principal, ABPS, Mrs. Tahira Husain, HOD, Qadiria Girls Section, Mrs. Nazia Kausar and the entire teaching staff of senior secondary classes and all the students of class XII were present on the occasion.
The programme came to end with the vote of thanks by Mr. Askari Hasnain.
