Al-Barkaat Public School (+2)

The school is situated on the Anoopshahr Road near Jamalpur Railway Crossing approximately 5 kms from Aligarh Railway Station. The school prepares students for All India Secondary/Sr. Sec. School Examination (Class X/XII) conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi. It also caters for separate residential facilities to Boys and Girls from classes VI to XII. The medium of instruction is English at all levels.
The school has separate well-equipped science laboratories viz. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, computer Science and Mathematics for Secondary/Sr. Sec. level. These laboratories provide opportunities to understand the subject well through experiments done under the supervision of qualified and experienced teachers.
The school has a well established & spacious library. The library has on its shelves a large number of text books, story-books, Encyclopedia, reference books and books on moral values and general knowledge in English, Hindi and Urdu. The library has regular subscription to competitive examination magazines such as Science Reporter, Competition Success Review, journals and periodicals alongwith national/local newspapers. The students avail the library facilities through the library membership card valid for one academic year. The library is fully automated with barcode technology for the issue and return of books using Alice for Window Library software.

Science and Kainat Society of India and District Science Club with the joint collaboration of Al Barkaat Public School and Earth Science Ministry, Government of India  organized different competitions (Debate, Poster Making and slogan Writing) to observe the world Earth Day 2012. Students of Al Barkaat Public School partook enthusiastically with their potentials in Science and Environment.
Sana Fatima won the first prize in debate, under senior group Adeel Ansari, Junior Group Abu Farhan and Suboohi Fatima from the Girls’ Section Bagged first prizes in poster making which top 11 students were adjusted in slogan writing competitions.
Speaking on the prize distribution DIOS Mr. Ravinder Singh congratulated the children on their best performance and motivated them that every responsible citizen should use the natural resources carefully and conserve it as his duty. We should take oath that we should save the Earth daily.
Mrs. Sabiha Khan, the Principal, Al Barkaat Public School proposed the vote of thanks in the end.
District Coordinator, District Science Club Mr. Zia Ahmad and his colleagues Mr. Laiq Ahmad and Mr. Mohd. Arshad, Mrs. Tahira Husain, HOD, Qadiria Girls’ Section, Mrs. Saba Haque, Head Mistress, CCA Incharge Mr. Mahtab Ahmad, Art & Craft Teacher Mrs. Nadira Ahmad, Urdu Teacher Mr. Nasir Husain, all the teaching and non teaching staff and students were present on the occasion.

Al-Barkaat Public School organized a special assembly on the occasion of the World Earth Day 2012 in which teachers and students expressed their views as how to conserve and utilize the natural resources.
The assembly started with the recitation of the holy verses from the Q’uran. Addressing the assembly Mrs. Sabiha Khan, the principal said, “The most precious natural resource on Earth is water and the responsibility to utilize and conserve it falls solely on us.” She also mentioned the various methods of water conservation.
Mrs. Tahera Hussain, HOD, Qadiria Girls’ Section asserted that – we do use all the natural resources but we should utilize them properly and also try to conserve all seriously and carefully.
Mrs. Sabiha Khan, the Principal, Mrs. Tahera Hussain, HOD, Qadiria Girls section and art and craft teacher Mrs. Nadira Ahmad planted saplings also.
All the teachers and students of Al-Barkaat Public School were present on the occasion.
