Al Barkaat Public School celebrated 63^rd anniversary of Republic Day with full fervor.  The children presented different cultural programmes and expressed their views through Hindustani and English speeches.

The Chief Guest Mrs. Farhat Rizvi Chief Editor of Rashtriya Sahara, hoisted the flag and received the commands of the March Past. Addressing the audience, she said, “The National Festival cultivates patriotism and gives the massage that we should understand our duties towards the nation and try to become a good citizen. Besides, it is very necessary to get education as well”. Laying emphasis on the significance of women education she added, “The Al Barkaat Educational Society is taking a good initiative in this regard.”

Presiding over the function the President of Al Barkaat educational Society Prof. S. M. Amin Sb. said, “Hard work is the key to success. So, we should try continuously for it.” He further asserted that good devotion and hard work have good results. “We should love our country and understand the significance of Independence well”, he added.

The Principal Mrs. Sabiha Khan extended her heartiest congratulations on the Republic day. She said, “The National Festival creates the feeling of Patriotism and awareness of our duties and responsibilities”.

The programme was conducted jointly by students Master Mursalin Barkaati and Qazi Abdul Rahim. The Headmistress Mrs. Saba Haque proposed the vote of thanks.

Dr. Ahmad Mujataba Siddiqui, Joint Secretary, Al Barkaat Educational Society, Prof. Kafeel Ahmad, Treasurer, ABES, Prof. Saghir Afrahim, Manager, Al Barkaat Public School, Dr. F. U. Siddiqui, Coordinator, ABEIs, Dr. Waseem Ahmad, Director, ABIMS, Dr. Saba Hasan,Principal, ABEIs, Mrs. Tahera Husain, HOD, Qadiria Girls’ Section, Mrs. Tabassum Saqlain, Incharge, Nursery Section, all teaching and non teaching staff and students were present on the occasion.

The programme came to an end with the school Tarana.

On the occasion of republic day a friendly cricket match was organized between teaching and non teaching staff of AL Barkaat Public School.

The teaching staff won the match by 39 runs. The match was very interesting and attracted a huge number of audiences as boys and girls boarders.

The teaching staff won the toss and elected to bat. The team made a massive score of 132 runs. The players were Mr. Danish Mohsin(Captain), Mr. Safiur Rehman, Mr. Deepak K. Gupta, Mr. Ebadul Hauqe. Mr. Mahtab Ahmad, Mr. Naushad Najeeb, Mr. Riyaz Ul Haque, Mr. Muzammil Burney, Mr. Syed Ashar Ali, Mr. Kashif, Mr. Shoeb Ahmad and Mr Fehmeed Khan.

Chasing the target the nonteaching staff was restricted to merely 93 in 12 over game. Mr. Ebadul Haque played a key role giving only 16 runs in his three overs. That was the turning point of the match Mr. Safiur Rehman, Mr. Kashif, Mr. Riyaz Ul Haque and Mr. Danish Mohsin with a captain knock batted very well.

The opponents under  Mr. Nizam ( Captain) equally gave a stiff fight. Mr. Mohsin, Mr. Gulfam, Mr. Shadab, Mr. Anand, Mr. Sanjeev and all showed their wonderful talents in both bowling and batting.

Mr. Raghib of class IX and Mr. Azam of class XI were the umpire of the match. In the end Mr. Fehmeed khan offered a wonderful treat to all.

Management of Al Barkaat Educational Society interacted with entire staff of its Institutions and Wished them a Happy New Year in its first meeting of the year.

The executive members expressed their opinions on the academic and sports culture and gave their worthy suggestions in this matter.

Prof. S. M. Amin Sb., the President, Al Barkaat Educational Society showered his kind blessings and motivated the staff for better results in the upcoming Board Examination. He also praised all and expressed his gratitude to all who contribute greatly to this noble mission.

Dr. Ahmad Mujtaba Siddiqui, Joint Secretary, Al Barkaat Educational Society, welcomed all on the occasion and appreciated the work culture, staff and achievement of the institutions in its respective areas that Al Barkaat is progressing by leaps and bounds. “Al Barkaat is also going to set up the professional course as well as oriental study centers for Islamic Studies. There is a provision for higher classes to the Afternoon Shift also. The Afternoon will organize the sports Day, too shortly”, he said.

Dr. F. U. Siddiqui, Coordinator, Al Barkaat Educational Institutions laid an emphasis on the significance of knowledge besides the results. Knowledge can be better imparted by organizing Aptitude and Attitude tests, IQ tests, Project and Survey for its practical application to day to day life.

The area of Games and Sports is doing a good job and children are selected at the National Level in Rolling& Skating. The efforts of Games teachers are praiseworthy. On the Occasion sports children were given away prizes by the President, General Secretary and the Joint Secretary of the Al Barkaat Educational Society.

Mr. Vivek Bansal, MLC, Aligarh and Prof. Sagheer Ifrahim, Manager, Al Barkaat Public School cherished the occasion and praised all for contributing their brilliant efforts in the progress of the institution. Mr Bansal also the General Secretary of the Al Barkaat Educational Society and Prof. Ifrahim expressed their faith in active executive members who work by day and night and by virtue of their excellent endeavors Al Barkaat has attained such a great height within a short span of time.
