Inauguration of Al-Barkaat Qadiria Girls Section“Women’s education is very essential for the progress and development of the society”, Said the chief guest Prof. Anwar Jahan Zuberi, the Honourable Vice Chancellor, University of Calicut on the occasion of the inaugural ceremony of Al-Barkaat Qadiria girls` section. She added, “ Only an individual is educated by the education of a boy. However, the entire family and even society is educated by the education of a girl.We need to fight against the orthodox attitude of the society and create such a conducive environment where people could send girls as freely as they send boys.”
Prof. Hamida Ahmad former dean faculty of social science A.M.U and the guest of honour said ,” Al-Barkaat has been progressing since its inception and the result is before us. Today the inauguration of Al Barkaat Qadiria Girls’ Section begins a new era. The step taken for the women’s education is important for the education of the society and special community who are unaware of its significance. It is a mission to create a conducive atmosphere for the quality education.”
On this occasion, expressing his views Mr. S. M. Ashraf (IRS), Commissioner of Income Tax,Delhi said, “All the communities in the society are drawing their attention towards the right to education, specially, where school and co-education are established. It is necessary to create such an environment where the guardians could send their girls of the family without any hesitation and fear for their education. Al - Barkaat Qadiria Girls’ Section is being started to fulfill that purpose.”
Addressing the audience, Prof. S. M. Amin, President Al Barkaat Educational Society said , “The mission will remain incomplete until a single girl is educated. The objective of girls’ section is to impart education to all the girls of Muslim and other communities. Besides, it is to remove ignorance in the education of the girls and mould the mind of the Families to make their girls educated.”
Dr. F. U. Siddiqui, Coordinator, Al – Barkaat Educational Institutions said , “According to the survey of scholars in the World, a separate girls education is the better alternative toco-education”.
Dr. Ahmad Mujtaba Siddiqui, Joint Secretary, Al-Barkaat Educational Society introduced all the Guests. Mrs. Tahira Hussain, Incharge,Girls`section, proposed the Vote of Thanks to all the dignitaries.
