An Inter-School Football Tournament was held in Aligarh Muslim University on the occasion of Sir Syed Day celebration. All the school from Aligarh participated fervently in the tournament Al Barkaat with stiff fight reached the final and lifted up the runner up trophy. Team Al Barkaat with 16 members namely Asharaf Ziya (Captain) XII, Sheraz Ahmad (Vice-Captain) XI, Nasir Hussain XII, Amir Masood X, Usman Asharaf IX, Azam Barkaati X, S. M. Mushab IX, Md. Hasan XI, Masab Zaman X, Tulaib Bin Ayyub IX, Agha Ahmad Arfi VII, Md. Maaz X, Md. Ahmad IX, Habib Ur Rehman XI, Urooj Khan XII, Umair Khan X and Nazar Yusuf X under Games Incharge Mr. Danish Mohsin descended top play the matches. Mrs. Sabiha Khan, the Principal, Al Barkaat Public School congratulated them on behalf of the entire staff and management.

Al Barkaat, 17 October

A prize distribution ceremony of interschool volley ball and basket ball champion ship was organized at al Barkaat public school. The chief guest Dr. Ahmad Mujtaba Siddiqui, ABES and the guest of Honor Dr. F. U. Siddiqui, ABEIs graced the occasion. The final match of inter school volleyball was played between Al Barkaat Seniors and S. T. S. High School AMU in which Al Barkaat grabbed the trophy by 2-0. The final match of interschool Basketball was played between St. Fidelis and Al Barkaat Seniors in which St. Fidelis through stiff fight claimed the trophy for three consecutive years. Mr. Mohd Uvais, Abu Sultan, Sadiq, Mohd. Faheem Ahmad and Kashif were the referees during the final matches.

Dr. Ahmad Mujtaba Siddiqui, ABES, speaking on the occasion said, “It is very necessary to participating competition. Though only one team wins, the game should be played with a true sportsman spirit.”

Dr. F. U. Siddiqui, Coordinator, ABEIs, Dr. Waseem Ahmad, Director, ABIMS, Mrs. Sabiha Khan, the Principal, ABPS,  Mrs. Tahera Hussain, HOD Qadiria Girls’ Section Games Teacher Mr. Danish Mohsin, Safiur Rehman, Naushad, Abida, all the teachers, students and staff were present on the occasion.

Al Barkaat, 16 October

The inaugural ceremony started with the holy verses of the Qura’n. Mrs. Rashmi Singh (wife of Income Tax Commissioner, Aligarh), a painter and lawyer by profession, inaugurated the Championship.

Addressing the players she said that sportspersons should play their sports with the sportsman spirit. There is physical and mental development through games and sports.

Speaking on the occasion Dr. Ahmad Mujtaba Siddiqui, Joint Secretary ABES said there is the need of such type of tournament for physical and mental growth of children along with their encouragement in the field of games of sports.

Greeting the players the Principal of the school Mrs. Sabiha Khan said that that is an all round development of children through the games and sports as well as they can be proactive on their mental level.

Eight teams (S.T.S High School Minto Circle, A.M.U City High School, St. Fidelis Our Lady of Fatima, Iqra Public School, Maharshi Vidaya Mandir, Al-Barkaat Senior and Junior teams) participated in the championship. The inaugural match was played between Al-Barkaat Senior and Iqra Public School in which Al-Barkaat won comprehensively by 17-0.

The volleyball final match was played yesterday i.e14-10-2011 between Al-Barkaat Public School Senior and S.T.S High School A.M.U in which Al-Barkaat Won by 2-0 to grab the trophy.

On the occasion of Basketball Inauguration Director of Al-Barkaat Management Studies Dr. Waseem Ahmad,HOD Qadiria Girls’ Section Mrs. Tahera Hussain, Games Teacher Mr. Danish Mohsin, Safiur Rehman, Naushad, Abida, R.P Singh, Aqsa, Naresh, Waseem all teachers ,students and staff were  present.

Al Barkaat, 14 October

An Inter-School Volleyball and Basketball Championship was declared open at Al-Barkaat Public School by the Principal, Mrs. Sabiha Khan. The programme commenced with the recitation of the Holy verses from the Qur’an. The principal gave her inaugural speech saying that Games and sports are very important part of our life. They not only keep us physically and mentally fit but also inculcate the sense of friendship and intimacy having good entertainment with the sportsman spirit. A contest is not meant only to win but taking part in it with full fervor. The Volleyball Sports Captain Ashraf Zia took the oath to all the team members. The Principal and the HOD Qadiria Girls’ section Mrs Tahera Hussain were introduced to the teams by the team captains. The first match between Al-Barkaat seniors and Krishna International School was played. Al-Barkaat Public School won the match by 2-0.

Sports Incharge Mr. Danish Mohsin, Mr. Safiur Rehman, Mr. Naushad Najeeb, all teachers and students were present on the occasion. C.C.A Incharge Mr. Mahtab Ahmad compered the programme.

Al-Barkaat Public School participated in C.B.S.E Cluster-III Volleyball Tournament at Shanti Niketan Vidyapeeth, Meerut from 9^th to 11^th October, 2011.

As many as 64 teams participated across the Cluster III of which Al-Barkaat set a landmark to reach the Semi-final for the first time. This is an outstanding achievement for the school as the Games and Sports Incharge, Mr. Danish Mohsin is reported to have said.

Mrs. Sabiha Khan, Principal ABPS  on behalf of the entire fraternity of Al-Barkaat  Public School  and Management  congratulates  on this  great   performance.

Hence, it is our responsibility to boost up and encourage the students.

So, our school is organizing the Inter School Volley Ball and Basket Ball Tournament 2011.

The volleyball tournament will be held on 14^th October, and Basketball Tournament on 15^th October at 9:00 AM at Al Barkaat Sports Complex

Al Barkaat, 01 March

Al-Barkaat  Public school won the Runner-Up Title in the Inter School Roller Skating Championship organised by A.M.U Games Committee from 20-23 February,2011.The Roller Hockey Team comprised Ashab, Aftab Alam, S.M.Mushab, Abdul Qadir, Azhan and  Asjad Khan, Irfan Andleeb and Lubna. Ifrah andleeb  V, Ashar  III and Adeeba of class I got silver medals. Ashab and Izhan Azhar of Class VIII won Silver and Bronze Medals in Rink Race and Road Race respectively.

The coveted carnival of football continued for a week and ended in a fabulous finish. The final match was played between Sports Hotspur and Barkaatian Sporting amid the pleasant wet winter with a warm welcome of Mr. Taufiq Alam, Secretary, District Football Association, Mr. Amit, Football Coach,District Sports Stadium, Aligarh, The Principal Mrs. Sabiha Khan and Mrs. Tahira Hussain HOD of the Girls` section.

The match ended with a nail biting finish for the Tie-Breaker in which Sports Hotspur owned by Mr. Ather Hussain Qazi conceded a Golden Gold to lift the trophy. Mr. S. Ashar Ali Was the owner of the runner up Barkaatian Sporting. The Secretary Football Association gave away the trophy to the Winner.

The runner-up trophy was given by the Football Coach. The Principal distributed the medals to the winners and the runner-up medals were given away by the HOD, Girls` section.

Mr. Safiur Rehman looked after the Referee ship throughout. Mr. Danish Mohsin, Games Incharge, Dr. Babul Akhter and Ms. Seema Zaitoon managed the event very successfully.

Al-Barkaat, December 28

The football carnival 2010 started with a great ostentation and show in Al-Barkaat Public School. The two matchs were played on the opening day. The first match was played between Barkaatian Warrior and Barkaatian Hotspur. S. M. Atif and Nawajish Khan are the captains. Barkaatian Hotspur won by 4-0. Mustafa Kamal scored two goals. Tulaib Bin Ayyub and Maaz scored 1 goal each.

In the other match, Barkaatian Skyscrapers took on Barkaatian Stars in which Barkaatian Stars won by 1-0. Shoeb Zama and M. Atif were the skippers. Master Adil scored a goal by the corner kick. Mr. Riyaz Ul Haque is the owner of Barkaatian Stars. Mr. Athar is the owner of Barkaatian Hotspur.

Mrs. Sabiha Khan, the Principal, Mrs. Tahira Husain, HOD, Qadiria Girls’ Section, declared the tournament open and encouraged the children. Mr. Danish Mohsin, Dr. Babul Akhtar, Ms. Seema, Mr. Shafi Ur Rehman and the teachers organised the games.
