The school is situated on the Anoopshahr Road near Jamalpur Railway Crossing approximately 5 kms from Aligarh Railway Station. The school prepares students for All India Secondary/Sr. Sec. School Examination (Class X/XII) conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi. It also caters for separate residential facilities to Boys and Girls from classes VI to XII. The medium of instruction is English at all levels.

The library is fully automated with barcode technology for the issue and return of books using Alice for Window Library software.

A prize distribution ceremony of interschool volley ball and basket ball champion ship was organized at al Barkaat public school. The chief guest Dr. Ahmad Mujtaba Siddiqui, ABES and the guest of Honor Dr. F. U. Siddiqui, ABEIs graced the occasion. The final match of inter school volleyball was played between Al Barkaat Seniors and S. T. S. High School AMU in which Al Barkaat grabbed the trophy by 2-0. The final match of interschool Basketball was played between St. Fidelis and Al Barkaat Seniors in which St. Fidelis through stiff fight claimed the trophy for three consecutive years. Mr. Mohd Uvais, Abu Sultan, Sadiq, Mohd. Faheem Ahmad and Kashif were the referees during the final matches.

Dr. Ahmad Mujtaba Siddiqui, ABES, speaking on the occasion said, “It is very necessary to participating competition. Though only one team wins, the game should be played with a true sportsman spirit.”

Dr. F. U. Siddiqui, Coordinator, ABEIs, Dr. Waseem Ahmad, Director, ABIMS, Mrs. Sabiha Khan, the Principal, ABPS, Mrs. Tahera Hussain, HOD Qadiria Girls’ Section Games Teacher Mr. Danish Mohsin, Safiur Rehman, Naushad, Abida, all the teachers, students and staff were present on the occasion.
