The chief purpose of education is to create all round development and character building of children. The children of Al-Barkaat Public School have multifaceted skills. This was spoken by Prof. D.N. Johar, Vice Chancellor of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra in the Annual Day Function “Irteqa-2011” of the school. He said, “Al-Barkaat is not only beautiful by building but also by the entire atmosphere of purity, transparency and maturity. In this 21st Century of competitive era when the entire world is revolutionized in socio-educational perspective, we the Indians are undermining the significance of Education. It is the matter of pride and praise that Al-Barkaat Public School established by Al-Barkaat Educational Society is discharging its duties in the propagation and promotion of the education in Aligarh.”
Presiding over the function, the world renowned architect and the Guest of Honour Mr. I.M. Kadri expressed his feelings of Joy that Al-Barkaat is an amazing and attractive institution which will carve a niche in future. Mr. Kadri extending his address said, “It is the responsibility of all of us to establish any institution and execute its objectives with honestly and diligence.” The children remind our childhood and reflect the future. So, our responsibility doubles up. It is difficult but not impossible to create conducive atmosphere for their education and training to prepare them to face the challenges in future and make them mature. The promising teachers of Al-Barkaat Public School are shouldering their responsibilities very well and the future generation will strengthen the future of India by getting quality education. I thank Al-Barkaat Educational Society for inviting me on this occasion. I wish that Al-Barkaat Public School will surely attain its objectives and establish itself in the best way.
Mr. S.M. Ashraf, Vice President of the Al-Barkaat Educational Scoiety and Income Tax Commissioner, Delhi said, “Imparting Education is our moral duty and we should make our child a good citizen with socio-cultural tradition so that our society can progress socio-economically and philosophically. It is a concerted effort of all. This successful function of Al-Barkaat Public School shows that good endeavor has a good result. I am proud to say that Al-Barkaat is setting an example of success and will achieve more success by keeping with their best performance.”
Prof. S.M. Amin, President of Al-Barkaat Educational Society said, “Al-Barkaat was our dream and it has come true in the form of children. The objective of the society is to cooperate the nation building through the best education. We are committed to prepare the children with their multifaceted qualities of culture and tradition, philosophy of life, honesty, modesty and being a good citizen along with best education.”
The programme started with the recitation of the Holy Verses from the Quran and a Naat. Prof. S.M. Amin, the President of the Society, Mr. S.M. Ashraf, Vice President of the society welcomed the distinguished guests by presenting a memento and a shawl. Mrs. Sabiha Khan the Principal, ABPS mentioned the achievements of the school in her Annual Report. Dr. Ahmad Mujtaba Siddiqui, Joint Secretary ABES greeted the guests. The Children of the school presented cultural programmes on the occasion. The events included song, Nimo play, World of Vegetables, English play (The Bishop’s Candlesticks), Hindi Play, Mushaira and Ghazals. The tiny tots stole the show with their best and mind blowing talents.
The programme came to an end with Tarana-e-Al-Barkaat and the National Anthem. Mrs. Tahera Hussain HOD Girls Section proposed the vote of thanks. The programme was conducted by teachers, Shabana Haleem, Tatheer Aziz and students Suhaib Zaman and Hira Khan.
Dr. F. U Siddiqui, Coordinator ABEIs, Dr. Waseem Ahmad, Director ABIMS, Dr. Saba Hasan, Principal ABIE, eminent guests Dr. M.I. Khan, Prof. Salahuddin Qureshi, Mrs. Hina Qureshi, Mrs Saba Haque, Headmistress, ABPS, Mrs Tabassum Saqlain, Nursery Incharge, Mrs. Nadira Ahmad, all the teaching and non-teaching staff were present on the occasion.
