Observed Earth Day

Al Barkaat Public School(+2) organized a special assembly on Earth Day, on April 22, 2016. The day was devoted to demonstrating how much we care about the future of our planet. The students reiterated the current issues affecting the environment, like pollution water shortage and climatic changes REUSE REDUCE and RECYCLE was discussed upon. On lines of the PARIS AGREEMENT, 2016 a pledge was taken to conserve Earth and its resources the students shared interesting trivia about the Earth and its bounties. The students were asked questions about their knowledge of the planet. The Principal Vice Principal enlightened the assembly by drawing attention towards conservation of the eco system and the depletion of Earth & natural resources.

The focus of the Earth Day celebration was a solemn resolve to transform the simple gifts of nature into wondrous joys.
