Al- Barkaat Public School celebrates ‘Earth Day’
Al Barkaat
Public School(+2) organized a special assembly on the occasion of Earth Day on
22nd April 2015. A week long celebration to create awareness on the
conservation, preservation and utilization of valuable resources beset the
stage for students to bring forward role play, speeches, presentations, poems
on environment topics. It was brought to light that continuous over utilization of
resources is depleting the earth of its hidden treasures. A Sustainable
Development Project is the need of the hour. Planting of sapling, an oath of
allegiance to protect the environment and distribution of badges marked the
highlights of the special assembly.
