Al Barkaat,
The Teacher’s Day at Al-Barkaat Public School was
celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm and fervor.
On this occasion a special assembly was conducted by
the students to honour their teachers. Warda Beg of class X was incharge for
the proceedings of the assembly. The assembly started with the recitation of the
Holy Quran by Master Hasan of class VI which was followed by a beautiful nazm
recited by Master Sarooj Ghalib of class VI.
The primary section of Al-Barkaat honoured the
teachers with a sweet song “Hum Chote Bachche” which was followed by an
enlightening speech by Arma Bano of class X highlighting the role of teachers
and the importance of Teachers Day.
The singing troop of Al-Barkaat presented an
enthralling song “Maro na hume Madam…” which was a humorous plea of students to
the teachers.
The Vice-Principal of ABPS, Mrs. Tahera Hussain
lauded the contribution made by the teachers of the school for their devotion
to the cause of education.
The Principal of ABPS, Mrs. Sabiha Khan thanked all
the teachers and put more emphasis on moral and ethical values, which she
expected the students to follow.
The best part of the programme was the enactment of
the teachers by the students. The student’s creative minds found the lookalike
of their teachers among themselves, dressed up like their teachers and took
over the academic and administrative working of the school for the day. They
felt proud running the school and realized the importance of teachers in their
lives.
In the end the Principal thanked all the students and
wished that the students would be great future nation builders.
