Special Assembly on Eid

Al Barkaat, 18 August 

Al- Barkaat Public School organized a special assembly on Eid. The programme started with the recitation of the holy verse of Qura’n by Hammad of class VIII. Sana of class XII threw some light on the festival, its significance and blessings through her English Speech followed by a bi-lingual speech by Ifrah of class VII and Fatima Zehra of class XI. The primary Section children presented a beautiful song on the joy and celebration of Eid. Tarab of class IV presented a Na’at.

Speaking on the occasion Mrs. Sabiha Khan, the Principal said, “Eid brings in the message of love, harmony and fraternity. It’s imperative for all muslims to pay charity first before going to the mosque. There is a certain prescribed quantity or value of it at the present rate which each and every member of the family has to give. It is meant for the poor brothers who could miss the joy without our help and support. Hence, Eid spreads the message of equality.”

Mrs. TaheraHussain, Vice-Principal greeted everyone through her speechand prayed to God for His blessings on us.

Mr. Nasir Hussain Special Assembly Incharge, Mrs. Nadira Ahmad, Art Teacher, Mr. Mahtab Ahmad, C.C.A Incharge, Mr. Syed Ashar Ali , Media incharge , Mrs. Sujata Joel, present Caretaker of Primary Section, all the other responsible stakeholders, all the teaching & non-teaching staff and the entire students of all the wings of Al-Barkaat Public School were present on the occasion.
