Independence Day

Al Barkaat, 15 August
The 66th Independence Day was celebrated at
Al-Barkaat Public School with full zeal and zest. The flag was hoisted by Prof.
Sagheer Afraheem Sb, Manager of the school, Dr. Waseem Ahmad, Director, ABIMS and
the Principal of the school. The programme started with the recitation of the
holy verses from the Quran by master Zikr Ur Rehman of class XI PCM followed by
a Hindustani Speech by Samreen of class XI Humanities and English speech by
Musab Zaman class XI. Prof. Sagheer Afraheem Sb. Said, “The National
Festival is rekindle a sense of patriotism and the message that we should
understand well their service to the nation We should try to become a good
citizen and most important thing is to get good education. The Principal, Mrs.
Sabiha Khan extended her heart - felt congratulations to all. Addressing the
audience she said, "This is the era of 21st century and there
is stiff competition all over. So, we have to work hard with dedication and
prove our potential to achieve success. Women education is the most important
one and Al Barkaat Educational Society is taking a great initiative in this
direction”
The boys and Girls choirs presented their
Patriotic songs with full energy and enthusiasm.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs.
Tabassum Saqlain, In-charge Nursery Section.
The programme was conducted by Sana Khan of
class XII PCB and Mohd. Shariq of Class XII commerce.
The entire staff and students of Al-Barkaat
fraternity were present on the occasion.
