Al-Barkaat Public School participated in Inter School Hockey Tournament organized by Aligarh Sports Stadium on the occasion of Sports Day at Aligarh Stadium, Aligarh

Almost all the school teams of Aligarh participated in the tournament of which Al-Barkaat set a landmark to enter the Semi-final. “This is an outstanding achievement of the school”, as quoted by the hockey coach Mr. Shah Mohd Rashid, Mr. Danish Mohsin, Games and Sports Incharge.

The Team of Al Barkaat with 15 members namely Mohd. Talha (Captain) VIII, Hassan Raza Noorie (Vice-Captain) VII, Mohd Adnan X, Moh. Majid Husain VII, Sadat Husain VII, Mohd. Faisal VII, S. M. Khubaib VII B, Md. Anas VII, Venkat Gautam X, Manish Yadav VII, Faraz Ahamad VII, Mokarram VII, Suhel Sabri VIII, Jawwad Jaweid IX, Salman Ali VII, and Malik Zeeshan Imteyaz VII

Mrs. Sabiha Khan, the Principal Al Barkaat Public School on behalf of the entire fraternity of Al-Barkaat Public School and Management congratulated the team for their outstanding performance and give the trophy to the participants.

Weekly test has commenced in the night boarding classes. In these classes, Fourth week test (FWT) and Second week test (SWT) have been planned month wise. This was the FWT started on Monday i.e. 27.08.2012. First, the classes were conducted in the first half as usual. Then, in the second half the test were held. The separate time table for the classes and schedule for the tests have already been prepared by the Night Boarding Incharge Mr. Ebadul Haque and displayed on the notice board beforehand.

The other teachers of the Night Boarding classes are Mr. Deepak Kumar Gupta, Mr. Mahtab Ahmad, Mr. Syed Ashar Ali, Mr. Azeem Ur Rehman, Mr. Shamim, Mr. Shoeb, Mr. Asjad and Mr. Usman.

Al- Barkaat Public School organized a special assembly on Eid. The programme started with the recitation of the holy verse of Qura’n by Hammad of class VIII. Sana of class XII threw some light on the festival, its significance and blessings through her English Speech followed by a bi-lingual speech by Ifrah of class VII and Fatima Zehra of class XI. The primary Section children presented a beautiful song on the joy and celebration of Eid. Tarab of class IV presented a Na’at.

Speaking on the occasion Mrs. Sabiha Khan, the Principal said, “Eid brings in the message of love, harmony and fraternity. It’s imperative for all muslims to pay charity first before going to the mosque. There is a certain prescribed quantity or value of it at the present rate which each and every member of the family has to give. It is meant for the poor brothers who could miss the joy without our help and support. Hence, Eid spreads the message of equality.”

Mrs. TaheraHussain, Vice-Principal greeted everyone through her speechand prayed to God for His blessings on us.

Mr. Nasir Hussain Special Assembly Incharge, Mrs. Nadira Ahmad, Art Teacher, Mr. Mahtab Ahmad, C.C.A Incharge, Mr. Syed Ashar Ali , Media incharge , Mrs. Sujata Joel, present Caretaker of Primary Section, all the other responsible stakeholders, all the teaching & non-teaching staff and the entire students of all the wings of Al-Barkaat Public School were present on the occasion.
