Visit of AMU V.C. at Al-Barkaat

Prof. P. K. Abdul Aziz Vice Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University paid a visit to Al Barkaat Eduction Institutions on Dec 8, 2010 at 3.30P.M. He was welcomed by Prof. S. M. Amin Sb., President, Al Barkaat Education Society(ABES), Dr. Ahmad Mujtaba Siddiqui, Joint Secretary, ABES, Dr. F. U. Siddiqui, Coordinator, ABEIs, Principal, Headmistress, HODs, teachers and students volunteers. He visited primary and senior secondary school buildings, department of education and management faculties. He was highly impressed by the sprawling institutions and the architecture.

A small interaction session with teachers was held in the conference hall. Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Aziz shared his experience in A.M.U. and his vision for the upliftment of the muslim community.  He asserted, "The purpose of setting up the A.M.U. centers at remote places like Murshidabad, Kishanganj and Malappuram is to uplift the muslim community". He linked the vision of Al Barkaat with the Aligarh Movement and said – “Al Barkaat is the result of Aligarh Muslim University”. He envisaged Al Barkaat  Institutions to be Deemed University in the coming years. He also sought the blessing of the President in the end.

The Coordinator introduced the V.C. in his welcomed speech. The programme was conducted by the Joint Secratory. The President proposed the vote of thanks'.
