Al-Barkaat Public School (+2)

The school is situated on the Anoopshahr Road near Jamalpur Railway Crossing approximately 5 kms from Aligarh Railway Station. The school prepares students for All India Secondary/Sr. Sec. School Examination (Class X/XII) conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi. It also caters for separate residential facilities to Boys and Girls from classes VI to XII. The medium of instruction is English at all levels.
The school has separate well-equipped science laboratories viz. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, computer Science and Mathematics for Secondary/Sr. Sec. level. These laboratories provide opportunities to understand the subject well through experiments done under the supervision of qualified and experienced teachers.
The school has a well established & spacious library. The library has on its shelves a large number of text books, story-books, Encyclopedia, reference books and books on moral values and general knowledge in English, Hindi and Urdu. The library has regular subscription to competitive examination magazines such as Science Reporter, Competition Success Review, journals and periodicals alongwith national/local newspapers. The students avail the library facilities through the library membership card valid for one academic year. The library is fully automated with barcode technology for the issue and return of books using Alice for Window Library software.

Al-Barkaat, 27 September
A teachers’ get together party was held at Al-Barkaat Public School organized by the fresher-teachers.
The programme started with the recitation of the holy verses of the Quran by Qari Noman Azhari. Ms Sidra Islam gave a welcome speech. The freshers’ choir team presented a mix-song and manifested their enthusiasm. Dr. Ahmad Mujtaba Siddiqui, Joint Secretary, ABES addressed  the august gathering of the teachers and  exhorted them to keep  loyality towards the institution by dedicating their services in the interest of school and maintaining  the dignity of a teacher to get respect from all the corners through their  all around profound knowledge. Dr F.U Siddiqui Coordinator, ABEIS advised them to follow the tradition of the institution and learn how to adapt themselves in the atmosphere. There is a scope of improvement at all levels. We have an opportunity to learn from each other. Mrs Sabiha Khan, the Principal, ABPS congratulated the teachers on organizing the function while HOD Girls’ Section, Mrs Tahera Hussain gave some tips to teachers on child psychology. Mrs Saba Haque, Headmistress shared her first experience at school.
The teachers organized a game "Jago Grahak Jago” in which Ms. Saima Iqrar stood first. Students of class XII Nadeem Chaudhary and Suhaib Zaman presented a comedy programme. Suhaib Zaman presented a Ghazal also. The programme was conducted by Ms. Sidra Islam.
The Management, Administrators from all wings of the school and the entire teachers of Al-Barkaat Public School were present on the occasion.

Al-Barkaat, 26 September
An Inter-school English speech competition was held at MU College, Aligarh for the Junior and Senior Groups in which Master Osama Ansari of class VIII C won the first prize under Junior Group while Master Sumit Belwal of class XII PCM got the participation certificate under Senior Group.
 Mrs. Sabiha Khan, the Principal, ABPS congratulated the children on their winning and participation saying that taking part in any contest is more important than winning. She announced it in the morning assembly and encouraged the children to take part in any contest actively.
Mrs. Tahera Husain, HOD, Qadiria Girls’ Section, CCA Incharge        Mr. Mahtab Ahmad, English Teacher Ms. Tatheer Aziz, the entire teaching staff and the children were present on the occasion.
