Al-Barkaat Public School (+2)

The school is situated on the Anoopshahr Road near Jamalpur Railway Crossing approximately 5 kms from Aligarh Railway Station. The school prepares students for All India Secondary/Sr. Sec. School Examination (Class X/XII) conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi. It also caters for separate residential facilities to Boys and Girls from classes VI to XII. The medium of instruction is English at all levels.
The school has separate well-equipped science laboratories viz. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, computer Science and Mathematics for Secondary/Sr. Sec. level. These laboratories provide opportunities to understand the subject well through experiments done under the supervision of qualified and experienced teachers.
The school has a well established & spacious library. The library has on its shelves a large number of text books, story-books, Encyclopedia, reference books and books on moral values and general knowledge in English, Hindi and Urdu. The library has regular subscription to competitive examination magazines such as Science Reporter, Competition Success Review, journals and periodicals alongwith national/local newspapers. The students avail the library facilities through the library membership card valid for one academic year. The library is fully automated with barcode technology for the issue and return of books using Alice for Window Library software.

Al Barkaat, 20 August

A students shop programme was organized at Al-Barkaat Public School by the students of class XI Commerce in which they had arranged stationery objects, games and sports articles, and daily use items for sale and displayed the sale of wholesale in retail.
The programme was jointly inaugurated by the Joint Secretary, ABES Dr. Ahmad Mujtaba siddiqui and the Coordinator, ABEIs Dr. F.U. Siddiqui. 
Talking about the programme, Commerce teacher Miss Nazia Kausar said, “Organising this sort of programme enhances confidence in children.  The purpose is to put their theoretical knowledge into its practical application. 
The children have learnt how to sell the wholesale items in retail.” 
The visitors encouraged the children by purchasing some of the items too.  “It is worth applauding”, they remarked.  Mrs. Sabiha Khan, the Principal, HOD Mrs. Tahera Hussain and the entire staff of Al-Barkaat Public School were present there.

The 65th Independence Day was celebrated at Al-Barkaat Public School with full zeal and zest. The flag was hoisted by the Principal of the school. The programme started with the recitation of the holy verses from the Quran by master Mohd. Hanzala of class XI PCB followed by a Hindustani Speech by Noman Ashraf of class VII.  The Principal, Mrs. Sabiha Khan extended her heart - felt congratulations to all. Addressing the audience she said, "We, the teachers, are the builders of the nation. So, we should realize our duties and  responsibilities towards children and discharge them with utmost dedication, sincerity and integrity. This should be our oath on the Independence Day.”
The boys and Girls choirs presented their Patriotic songs with full energy and enthusiasm respectively.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. Saba Haque, the Headmistress.                Mrs. Tahira  Hussain, HOD Qadiria Girls’ Section, Mrs. Tabassum Saqlain, In-charge,  Nursery Section and the entire staff and students of Al-Barkaat fraternity  were present on the occasion.
The programme was conducted by Sana Fatima of class XII PCB.

An Inaugural Ceremony of the Afternoon Shift, Project Rahat under the aegis of Al-Barkaat Educational society was held in the Conference Hall at Al-Barkaat.

Various eminent  persons across Aligarh Muslim University and Aligarh such as Mr. C. P. Singh, ADM City, Aligarh, Mr. Vivek Bansal, MLC, Aligarh and Secretary of Al-Barkaat Educational Society, Prof. A. R.  kidwai, Director, Academic Staff College, Prof. Salahuddin Qureshi,             Prof. Sagheer Afraheem, Manager, ABPS, Founder Member Mr. S. M. Aman, Dr F.U Siddiqui, Coordinator, ABEIs, Dr. Ahmad Mujtaba Siddiqui, Joint-Secretary, ABES, Mrs. Sabiha Khan, Principal, ABPS, Dr Waseem Ahmad, Director, ABMIS, Dr Saba Hasan, Principal, ABIE, Mrs. Saba Haque, Headmistress, Mrs. Tahira Hussain, HOD Qadiria Girls Sectiion, Mrs Tabassum Saqlain, Incharge Nursey Section ,Mrs Nadira Ahmad and the entire Barkaatian fraternity graced the occasion.
The programme started with the recitation of the holy verses of the Quran by Maulana Aqeel Sb.                                                                                                           
Addressing the  august gathering Dr Ahmad Mujtaba Siddiqui, Joint Secretary, ABES set forth the brief history and link of the scion with Iraq about 389 years ago. The chief head of the pious and spiritual clan Prof S.M. Amin Sb. is associated with the Dargah of Mahrara Shareef in Etah. He is the founder head of this esteemed Institution. The society has a vision and mission to carry out Aligarh Movement and update the present generation with the time and space by providing underprivileged strata of the society those opportunities that are inaccessible and unaffordable to them.
Dr. F. U. Siddiqui briefed about the AL-Barkaat Educational Institutions its growth and achievements that by the grace of Almighty God it is progressing by leaps and bounds and in no time is going to be the stepping stone especially for the underprivileged class. He exhibited the optimism and mettle of the Society in this direction.
Mr. C. P. Singh ADM City Aligarh applauded the steps taken by the Society saying that the members of this family are fulfilling their mission and proving that spiritualism through this noble cause of the service to the underprivileged society is next to the service of God. He further stated that their money is invested in the right direction and the money earned by affluent people should be spent in this way of social service as everyone has to depart from this world empty-handed.
Mr. Vivek Bansal addressed the audience saying that Al-Barkaat is endeavoring to update the society of 21 century and it is a giant leap of growth and development of the institution that it is well-aware, realizing the need of the society to meet their demands through such noble efforts.
Prof A.R. Kidwai Director Academic Staff College expressed his opinions through two major remarks. Firstly, he said that Rahat is not meant to only ease the burden of money but also relax and relief of heart, brainwashing the mind and overhauling the souls of those who are uncared and neglected.
Secondly, he exhorted the teachers to empathize with them in order to remove their inferiority complex, perceive their negligence by the society and support them with love and care for their better growth and development. He also permitted them to visit and learn computer in Sultan Jahan Coaching and Guidance Centre.
